This year the labs
and workshops of the school will open throughout the months of June,
July, August and September for whoever wishes to attend the courses
that teach and in-debth study painting, sculpture of drawing, of
engraving, etc. free nude classes and Italian classes for foreign
people. Partecipants of various cultures and nationalities attend
these courses sin order to can get acquainted with the origin ande
the methods of making and living art directly with the teachers.
It takes only a 30/40 minute drive from the school where the great
artist Bruno
Saetti lived and worked to reach the places where other great
masters such as Giotto, Cimabue, michelangelo, Leonardo, Andrea
Del Sarto, Filippo and Filippino Lippi, Brunelleschi, Donatello
lived and worked. The teaching programs and methods are organized
in order to meet the specific requirements of each partecipant.
Monday thru Friday - morning classes - from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In the afternoon - free art pratice - from 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
The school supplies all the common usa and work material required.
All partecipants will use an annual membership card that can be extended each year.
Lessons are given by the qualified teachers of the Fine Arts Academy of Florence (Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze)
and by well-known Italian and foreign artist.
The fee includes 4-hour Daily Classes, lodging in a Hotel, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The classes are free (integrated in the regular courses) for a limited number of young persons with disabling diseases that will be indicated to me by the Communes of Cantagallo and of Vaiano.
Who has already participated to summer courses in the past years will be entitled to a 50% discount, board and lodging not included.
